Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Agentifiq ("Agentifiq," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit agentifiq.com or use our platform and embedded widgets. It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.
We are committed to being transparent about our data practices. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides additional detail about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
By continuing to use our website or platform after being presented with cookie choices, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it before placing those cookies.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners.
Cookies are set either by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by third-party services running on that page (third-party cookies). Cookies can be "session" cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them manually.
Beyond traditional cookies, we may also use similar technologies such as:
- Local Storage: Browser-based key-value storage used for UI state preferences, such as sidebar collapse state, that does not involve server round-trips.
- Session Storage: Temporary browser storage cleared when the tab or window is closed; used for transient form state within a single session.
- HTTP headers: Certain security and session identifiers are transmitted via HTTP-only cookies that are not accessible to JavaScript, providing an additional layer of protection against cross-site scripting attacks.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, pixel trackers, or cross-site behavioral targeting technologies on our platform.
Cookies We Use
The following table describes all cookies that Agentifiq places on user devices, along with their purpose and duration. We group cookies into three categories: Strictly Necessary, Functional, and Analytics.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the platform to function. They enable core features such as security, session management, and access control. You cannot opt out of these cookies while continuing to use the platform, as they are required for it to operate.
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow the platform to remember your choices and provide enhanced, personalized features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. Disabling these cookies may affect certain features but will not prevent basic platform access.
Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website and platform by collecting and reporting information. All analytics we perform are first-party and server-side — we do not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics services. Analytics cookies can be disabled without impacting platform functionality.
| Cookie Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
.AspNetCore.Session |
Strictly Necessary | Maintains the user's server-side session. Required for all authenticated operations and state management across page requests within the ASP.NET Core application. | 20 minutes (sliding) |
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* |
Strictly Necessary | Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection token. Verifies that form submissions originate from our application and not from a third-party site. Required for all POST operations. | 1 day |
auth_token |
Strictly Necessary | Authentication cookie issued by ASP.NET Core Identity after successful login. Contains an encrypted, signed token identifying the authenticated user and their current session. HTTP-only and Secure. | Persistent (until sign-out) |
trusted_device |
Functional | Stores an encrypted identifier for a device that the user has explicitly marked as trusted during two-factor authentication. When present, allows users to skip the 2FA step on subsequent logins from the same device for up to 90 days. | 90 days |
ew_visited |
Functional | Set by Agentifiq's embedded engagement widgets when a visitor returns to a page after a prior visit. Used to customize the widget experience for return visitors (e.g., suppressing introductory messages already seen). | 1 year |
ew_consent |
Strictly Necessary | Records the visitor's cookie consent choices as captured through our cookie consent banner. Stores a serialized JSON object indicating which cookie categories the user has accepted or declined. Without this cookie, the consent banner would reappear on every page load. | 1 year |
_analytics_session |
Analytics | First-party analytics session identifier. Used by our internal analytics system to group page views and interactions into a single visit for aggregate reporting. No personal data is transmitted to third parties. Data is used solely to understand traffic patterns and improve the platform. | Session (browser close) |
No third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Agentifiq does not place, nor permit third parties to place, advertising cookies, behavioral profiling cookies, or cross-site tracking technologies on our platform. All analytics are performed first-party and in aggregate only.
Managing Cookies
You have several options for controlling cookies on your device:
Browser Settings
All modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings menus. You can configure your browser to block cookies from specific sites or to notify you before a cookie is set. The following links provide instructions for the most common browsers:
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Agentifiq platform. Session and authentication cookies are required for the application to function.
Our Consent Banner
When you first visit agentifiq.com, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept all cookie categories, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or customize your preferences by category. Your choices are saved in the ew_consent cookie and applied for one year. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the page footer.
Opt-Out of Analytics
You can opt out of our first-party analytics collection at any time by declining the Analytics category in our cookie consent banner. If you have already accepted analytics cookies and wish to withdraw consent, re-open the cookie preferences panel and update your selection. Your updated preference will be applied immediately and the analytics session cookie will be cleared.
Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Our platform does not currently change its behavior in response to DNT signals from browsers because we do not engage in cross-site tracking, and our analytics are performed first-party in aggregate. We will update this policy if that changes.
We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which is recognized under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat this as a request to limit the use of your personal data for non-essential purposes, including non-essential cookies, and will configure your session accordingly without requiring you to manually adjust cookie preferences.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or improvements to our platform. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide a more prominent notice, such as a banner on our website or an email notification to registered users.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy, except where consent is required by law, in which case we will obtain it.
