Does the AI preserve attorney-client privilege?
The AI functions as an intake agent, not as legal counsel. Conversations are directed toward scheduling and information gathering only. The AI does not provide legal advice, and your firm retains control of all case communications once the intake is transferred to an attorney. Standard data security (TLS 1.3, encrypted storage) protects all call recordings.
How does conflict checking work?
The AI collects the caller's name, the opposing parties they mention, and the general matter type. This is submitted to your practice management system for a conflicts search. The AI informs the caller that a conflict check is required and that a staff member will confirm their appointment within one business day.
Can it collect case intake details?
Yes. The AI walks callers through a structured intake that you configure: matter type, incident date, parties involved, jurisdiction, and urgency level. The transcript and extracted data are pushed to your intake queue in Clio, MyCase, or PracticePanther.
What happens if someone calls about an emergency — like an arrest?
You configure emergency keywords and after-hours escalation rules. If the AI detects keywords like "arrested," "bail," or "emergency hearing," it immediately attempts to reach your on-call attorney via phone transfer. If unavailable, it collects contact details and fires an SMS/email alert to your emergency contacts.
Which jurisdictions and practice areas does it support?
The AI is jurisdiction-agnostic — it routes based on your firm's configuration, not pre-programmed legal rules. You define which practice areas you accept, which states you are licensed in, and how to route inquiries that fall outside your scope.
Can it integrate with our case management software?
Yes. We support native MCP adapters for Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, and Filevine. For other platforms, our OpenAPI adapter connects to any system with a REST API. New intake records are created automatically; no manual data entry required.
